FOUNDATION LEVEL BOOKKEEPING

Pre-Requisites for the Intermediate level bookkeeping courses:

The foundation bookkeeping courses do not require the student to have any knowledge of bookkeeping operations

Foundation bookkeeping courses achievements:

1. Double entry book-keeping
2. Extracting a trial balance
3. Final accounts- profit & loss account and balance sheet
4. Value Added Tax- how to complete a VAT return
5. Accounting for wages (P.A.Y.E) and National Insurance
6. Cash control through bank reconciliation

INTERMEDIATE LEVEL BOOKKEEPING

Pre-Requisites for the Intermediate level bookkeeping:

The Intermediate Accounting Course requires the student to have knowledge of double entry book-keeping and the preparation of financial statements for a sole trader business from a trial balance.

Intermediate level bookkeeping courses achievements:

The intermediate bookkeeping course will allow the student to accomplish a closer insight into the financial operation of a business and learn how to monitor the progress of business financial operations.

The Foundation bookkeeping and intermediate bookkeeping stages may be attempted at one sitting.

FINAL LEVEL BOOKKEEPING

Pre-Requisites for the advanced bookkeeping courses:
The Advanced bookkeeping course assumes that the student have a clear concept of Double Entry Book-keeping principles and the preparation of basic final accounts from the Trial Balance of a business.

Advanced level bookkeeping courses achievements:
The course will give students a broader overview of the financial affairs of different types of business entities.

We are running the above IAB bookkeeping courses in addition to our own program of bookkeeping courses. The fee includes an IAB study text manual covering the entire bookkeeping syllabus plus worked examples and sample questions and answers.
